Royal Deeside, Castles and Whisky Trail

You don't have to like whisky to enjoy this tour, the scenery alone is uplifting! However, if you do fancy a dram, then you are in for a real treat.

This is the land of castles, royal residences, and of course our national drink, Scotch Whisky - Uisge Beatha - the water of life.

With the ever changing backdrop of the Grampian Mountains, we cycle along quiet roads from glen to glen with names such as Glenfiddich and Strathisla, renowned throughout the world for their unique product.

From humble beginnings, often as illicit stills, Scotch Whisky is still produced in small, remote communities, in the traditional manner. We tour the most interesting distilleries on the Whisky Trail, also visiting some of Scotland's most famous and historic castles including Balmoral (The Royal Family's Highland Residence).

The rich architectural heritage and magnificent scenery make this tour a feast for the senses, with a dram or two of your favourite Malts along the way! To book this tour, please go to the enquiry form.

All our tours are flexible and can be adapted to your interests. We also arrange personalised tours.
